Malamute: Foster home needed! ASAP 8-19-2015

We received a call about a dog in need. He was being housed outdoors in this heat wave we've had, with no food, water or shelter. We took in Jack, but Jack is a Malamute, and contrary to popular believe, they are not a larger husky! In fact, Malamutes have different temperaments, and are much larger than a husky! Jack is a whopping 100lbs! He's a very sweet dog who walks great on a leash, however Jack is a bit picky about his friends, and he will let you know! He needs socialization with other dogs, and would not do well with smaller dogs or animals. He's got a great big bark and a cute fluffy face. Don't let his cute face fool you, he will need an experienced malamute owner as he is young and in need of some training. He's just 2 years old, so if you're looking for a young malamute, and you have experience, contact us! Jack, aka Captain Jack, is being fostered in the Lehigh Valley, however the ideal situation would be to place him with a Malamute rescue or experienced Malamute owner.
